Environmental

At B&B we strive to protect the environment by recycling materials from our works.Initial assessments are carried out to determine the different waste streams, where possible the items are identified which can be successfully reused, for example plant / equipment from industrial processes, complete buildings donated to preservation societies to hospital beds & furniture which can be delivered to charities for furnishing Hostel's for the Homeless. Beside the obvious benefits there are also environmental & financial benefits which can be passed on to the clients. The recycling of demolition 'Waste' ie Bricks, Timber, Granite Cobbles etc is a first line of approach prior to crushing & chipping for reuse. Materials which are unfit for reuse are ultimately processed to produce recycled products for Construction, ground works & Gardens. Ultimately the Environment impact assessments are carried out for our works to ensure the protection of all Flora Fauna and Wildlife which could be effected is foremost addressed.
The Environment is one of the principle factors affecting how we plan and carry out our works.

Whether its a building in the city centre or a farm access bridge in the Wolds, each location has its own unique environmental requirement.  Environmental impact factors range from identification of processes creating noise, air borne dust, increase in traffic, analysis of waste streams etc. to protection of identified flora, fauna and wildlife which could be detrimentally effected by operations.
