Demolition of 12m high office building and associated out buildings inclusive of all necessary ground works. Erecting a temporary accommodation unit for the Aviation museum.

Description
Lift out & Removal of asbestos contaminated bridge beams
We erected a free standing enclosure with the top initially open to allow the bridge beams to be lifted and set down inside, one at a time. Due to the time restraints and physical size of the beams this meant they had to be lifted, stacked, wrapped then individual lifted into the enclosure. The enclosure was then sealed for the Asbestos removal, concrete decontamination and subsequent 4 stage clearance before the beam was removed from the enclosure for disposal. This process was repeated for all the remaining beams.

Removal of insulation debris to roof space and environmental clean
of the rooms below.
Undertaken as an emergency job when a ceiling collapsed into the room, the roof space had previously been identified as being contaminated with asbestos insulation debris. We went in and carried out an environmental clean of the rooms affected by the ceiling collapse and then removed the remaining debris in the roof space.
